I grew up in a single-parent household and didn’t have anyone showing me how to manage money, make smart life choices, or build independence. I had to figure it out on my own, and it wasn’t easy.
That experience taught me two things:
1. Without guidance, young adults often drift through their 20s, unsure how to build the life they want.
2. Parents, couples, and guardians often don’t have the tools or confidence to teach financial literacy in their family.
I built The Money Guide to bridge that gap. I now help young adults take control of their money, independence, and confidence, and I coach parents and couples to gain clarity, align on finances, and support the people they care about. Whether it’s one-on-one guidance or a supportive community, my goal is the same: actionable skills, measurable results, and lasting transformation.
I don’t sell products or investments. I help you understand your relationship with money, including forming positive habits, setting goals, and creating a plan that actually works for your life.
A financial advisor usually focuses on products like super, shares, or insurance. A money coach focuses on your habits, mindset, and day-to-day management so you can actually follow through.
Most clients see immediate shifts in clarity and confidence, and understanding where their money beliefs came from. Bigger results like building savings habits or paying off debt, usually start around the 4-6 week mark.
Yes. I work with young adults in a casual, non-judgy way that focuses on small wins first. Parents are often surprised at how quickly their kids open up when the pressure’s off.
Yes. Most of my clients come to me because they feel stuck - living week to week, carrying debt, or unsure how to break old habits.
Nope. My approach is about balance. We focus on the big strategic changes first, so you can enjoy your life without guilt.
No - your accounts remain yours and are totally private. We will focus on the big numbers that contribute to your financial success - fixed costs, variable costs, savings and investing rates.
That’s normal. Apps work with numbers and data. Tailored coaching gives you insight, accountability, and a plan that sticks. We'll work on your relationship with money to help you uncover the patterns of behaviour, emotions and beliefs that might be holding you back.
